Estimated time: 30m
Tools needed:
Wrench, Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
M6-1 screws, M6-1x12 screws, Washers, Nuts
- Prepare the Hinge Mounting Points
Identify the designated mounting locations on the enclosure frame for the door hinges. Using the provided (2x) M6-1 screws and (4x) M6-1x12 screws, along with the corresponding (4x) and (6x) washers or nuts, securely attach the initial hinge components to the frame as illustrated in diagram 1.
- Assemble Door Panel Hardware
Proceed to assemble the various hardware pieces onto the door panel itself. This involves connecting the (1x) and (2x) components from diagram 2, followed by the (1x) and (2x) components from diagram 3, and then the (2x) and (3x) components from diagram 4, and finally the (2x) and (3x) components from diagram 5. Ensure all parts are correctly oriented and fastened.
- Mount the Door Panel to the Frame
Carefully align the assembled door panel with the hinge components previously installed on the enclosure frame. Securely attach the door to the hinges, ensuring proper alignment and smooth pivoting action as depicted in diagram 6.
- Install Remaining Accessories and Supports
Install any remaining accessories such as latches, handles, or support brackets. Utilize the (2x), (3x), (4x), and (6x) hardware pieces as shown in diagram 7 to complete the door's functionality and structural integrity.
- Apply Stainless Steel Fasteners (if applicable)
If you are installing a stainless steel version of the PROLINE® OI Front Hinged Door, ensure that only M6-1 stainless steel screws are used in all designated fastening points to maintain the enclosure's corrosion resistance, as specified in diagram 8.
