How to Install the PB1185 Solid Base

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Sealing washers
- Prepare the mounting surface
Select a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the surface is level and capable of supporting the weight of the enclosure. If mounting to a wall, use a level to mark the mounting hole locations.
- Drill mounting holes
Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on the mounting screws used. Refer to the datasheet for specific screw recommendations.
- Mount the enclosure
Position the enclosure over the drilled holes. Insert the mounting screws through the enclosure's mounting feet and into the pilot holes. If using sealing washers, place them between the screw head and the enclosure surface. Tighten the screws securely, ensuring the enclosure is plumb and level.
- Install the solid base
Align the solid base with the bottom of the enclosure. Secure the base using the provided M6 x 25mm screws. Ensure all 8 screws are tightened evenly.
