Overview

The nVent ProLine G2 19-Inch Rack Angles (SKU: P2RA19T16) represent a robust and efficient solution for mounting rack-mountable equipment within industrial and data center environments. Engineered by nVent, a trusted leader in electrical enclosure solutions, these rack angles are designed for optimal integration with the ProLine G2 frame system, ensuring a secure and reliable installation. Unlike traditional cage nut and screw assemblies, the ProLine G2 Rack Angles utilize BV-M6 fasteners for attachment. This innovative approach simplifies the mounting process, reducing installation time and potential for error. The optimized height and rack unit (RU) count are specifically tailored to the ProLine G2 frame dimensions, guaranteeing a precise fit and maximizing usable space within your enclosure. Each rack angle features two distinct mounting surfaces, providing versatile attachment points for a wide array of rack-mount equipment, including servers, network switches, patch panels, and other essential IT and industrial control components. Adhering to stringent industry standards, these rack angles comply with AN SI/EIA RS-310-D rack mounting specifications. This ensures interoperability and compatibility with a broad range of standard rack-mount equipment. Constructed from durable steel and featuring a conductive finish, these angles offer both mechanical strength and essential electrical grounding capabilities, crucial for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and ensuring system integrity. Key features and benefits include: * **Simplified Mounting:** Employs BV-M6 fasteners for quicker and more secure equipment attachment compared to conventional methods. * **Optimized Integration:** Designed to perfectly complement ProLine G2 frame heights, maximizing RU utilization. * **Dual Mounting Surfaces:** Offers flexibility for attaching various types of rack-mount hardware and accessories. * **Industry Compliance:** Meets AN SI/EIA RS-310-D standards for universal compatibility. * **Durable Construction:** Made from high-quality steel with a conductive finish for longevity and electrical protection. These 19-inch rack angles are an indispensable component for any professional seeking to establish a well-organized, secure, and compliant rack infrastructure. Whether deploying in a telecommunications facility, an industrial automation control room, or a demanding data center, the nVent ProLine G2 Rack Angles provide the foundation for reliable equipment mounting and system performance. The US-made quality from nVent assures you of a product built to withstand rigorous operational demands.
  • Furnished in pairs
  • Can be mounted directly to the frame, or at variable depths using Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Grid Straps; when mounted to the frame there is 44mm between the door opening and the Rack Angle mounting surface
  • Single-bay Frames: in a 600-mm wide frame, Rack Angles can be mounted in-line with the frame; in an 800-mm wide frame, Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Frame Reducing Brackets are required (sold separately) to achieve the 19-inch rack spacing
  • Double-Bay Frames: in a 1200-mm wide frame, Center Uprights must be used to create a mounting surface in the center of the enclosure for either bay; in a 1600-mm frame, Center Uprights are again required in addition to Frame Reducing Brackets or Adjustabl
  • Tapped-Hole Rack Angles accommodate 10-32 screws for equipment mounting
  • Square-Hole Rack Angles accept both metric and English cage nuts and screws: most commonly M5, M6, and 10-32 screws
  • Optional Shelves, Drawers, and Guides require two sets of Rack Angles to secure within the frame
  • All mounting hardware for Rack Angle installation into the frame is included; mounting hardware for securing rack-mount equipment/accessories to the Rack Angles is either supplied with the item or purchased separately
  • Tapped Rack Angles are constructed from 12 gauge (2.5 mm) conductive steel, while Square-Hole Rack Angles are from 14 gauge (1.75 mm) conductive steel
  • Load rating of 20 lbs (9.1 kg) per rack unit for equipment under 20-inches (508 mm) in depth; All equipment over 20-inches in depth requires rear rack angles for support
