Overview

The nVent ProLine G2 19-Inch Rack Angles (SKU: P2RA19S6) represent a significant advancement in industrial enclosure mounting solutions. Designed for robust performance and ease of installation, these conductive steel rack angles are engineered to seamlessly integrate with the ProLine G2 frame system. Unlike traditional methods that rely on cumbersome cage nut and screw combinations, the ProLine G2 Rack Angles utilize advanced BV-M6 fasteners. This innovative approach streamlines the mounting process, reducing assembly time and potential for errors, which is critical in fast-paced industrial environments. The height and rack unit (RU) count of these rack angles are meticulously optimized to complement the specific frame heights within the ProLine G2 enclosure series. This ensures a precise fit and maximizes usable space within the enclosure, allowing for efficient layout of critical equipment. Each rack angle features two distinct mounting surfaces, providing versatile attachment points for a wide array of rack-mount equipment and accessories. This dual-surface design enhances flexibility, accommodating various installation configurations and future expansion needs. Adherence to industry standards is paramount in industrial infrastructure. The nVent ProLine G2 Rack Angles proudly comply with AN SI/EIA RS-310-D rack mounting standards. This compliance guarantees interoperability with a vast range of standard rack-mountable equipment, ensuring that your chosen components will fit and function as intended. The conductive steel construction not only provides exceptional mechanical strength and durability but also contributes to the overall electrical grounding and integrity of the enclosure system, a vital consideration for sensitive electronic equipment. Key benefits of the nVent ProLine G2 Rack Angles include: * **Simplified Installation:** BV-M6 fastener system eliminates the need for separate cage nuts and screws. * **Optimized Fit:** Designed to perfectly match ProLine G2 frame heights and RU requirements. * **Versatile Mounting:** Two mounting surfaces accommodate diverse equipment and accessory installations. * **Industry Compliance:** Meets AN SI/EIA RS-310-D standards for broad compatibility. * **Durable Construction:** Conductive steel ensures long-lasting structural integrity and electrical grounding. These rack angles are an essential component for any professional seeking to build or upgrade industrial control panels, server racks, telecommunications equipment cabinets, or any application requiring secure and standardized equipment mounting. nVent's reputation for quality and innovation in enclosure solutions makes the ProLine G2 Rack Angles a trusted choice for demanding environments where reliability and performance are non-negotiable. The US-manufactured origin further underscores a commitment to quality manufacturing and supply chain reliability. Whether you are deploying new systems or retrofitting existing infrastructure, these rack angles offer a superior mounting solution.
  • Furnished in pairs
  • Can be mounted directly to the frame, or at variable depths using Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Grid Straps; when mounted to the frame there is 44mm between the door opening and the Rack Angle mounting surface
  • Single-bay Frames: in a 600-mm wide frame, Rack Angles can be mounted in-line with the frame; in an 800-mm wide frame, Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Frame Reducing Brackets are required (sold separately) to achieve the 19-inch rack spacing
  • Double-Bay Frames: in a 1200-mm wide frame, Center Uprights must be used to create a mounting surface in the center of the enclosure for either bay; in a 1600-mm frame, Center Uprights are again required in addition to Frame Reducing Brackets or Adjustabl
  • Tapped-Hole Rack Angles accommodate 10-32 screws for equipment mounting
  • Square-Hole Rack Angles accept both metric and English cage nuts and screws: most commonly M5, M6, and 10-32 screws
  • Optional Shelves, Drawers, and Guides require two sets of Rack Angles to secure within the frame
  • All mounting hardware for Rack Angle installation into the frame is included; mounting hardware for securing rack-mount equipment/accessories to the Rack Angles is either supplied with the item or purchased separately
  • Tapped Rack Angles are constructed from 12 gauge (2.5 mm) conductive steel, while Square-Hole Rack Angles are from 14 gauge (1.75 mm) conductive steel
  • Load rating of 20 lbs (9.1 kg) per rack unit for equipment under 20-inches (508 mm) in depth; All equipment over 20-inches in depth requires rear rack angles for support
