Overview

The nVent ProLine G2 19-Inch Rack Angles (SKU: P2RA19S10) are precision-engineered mounting solutions designed for professional rack infrastructure systems. These rack angles provide critical structural support for 19-inch equipment racks, ensuring compliance with ANSI/EIA RS-310-D standards for optimal compatibility and load-bearing capacity. Constructed from high-quality conductive steel, they offer superior durability and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, making them ideal for sensitive electronic environments such as data centers, telecommunications facilities, and industrial automation hubs. A standout feature of the ProLine G2 Rack Angles is their optimized design for the ProLine G2 frame system, eliminating the need for traditional cage nuts and screws. Instead, these angles utilize BV-M6 fasteners, streamlining installation while enhancing structural integrity. The dual mounting surfaces provide versatile attachment points for rack-mount equipment, accessories, and cable management systems, ensuring flexible configuration options for IT professionals and system integrators. These rack angles are engineered with a 1000mm length, offering ample coverage for standard 19-inch rack installations while maintaining compatibility with ProLine G2 frame heights. The square hole pattern ensures secure fastening and simplifies alignment during installation, reducing setup time and minimizing the risk of misalignment. Their conductive properties further enhance performance in applications requiring grounding and EMI suppression, such as server rooms, network closets, and industrial control panels. The ProLine G2 Rack Angles are manufactured in the USA by nVent, a global leader in thermal management and electrical infrastructure solutions. With decades of expertise in the industry, nVent delivers products that meet the rigorous demands of modern IT and industrial environments. Professionals trust nVent for its commitment to innovation, reliability, and adherence to industry standards, ensuring long-term performance and peace of mind. Ideal for data centers, enterprise IT environments, telecom installations, and industrial automation systems, these rack angles provide a robust foundation for mounting servers, switches, patch panels, and other critical equipment. Their compatibility with ProLine G2 frames and adherence to ANSI/EIA RS-310-D standards make them a preferred choice for system designers and installers seeking a seamless, high-performance racking solution. Whether upgrading existing infrastructure or deploying new systems, the ProLine G2 Rack Angles deliver the strength, versatility, and compliance required for mission-critical applications.
  • Furnished in pairs
  • Can be mounted directly to the frame, or at variable depths using Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Grid Straps; when mounted to the frame there is 44mm between the door opening and the Rack Angle mounting surface
  • Single-bay Frames: in a 600-mm wide frame, Rack Angles can be mounted in-line with the frame; in an 800-mm wide frame, Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Frame Reducing Brackets are required (sold separately) to achieve the 19-inch rack spacing
  • Double-Bay Frames: in a 1200-mm wide frame, Center Uprights must be used to create a mounting surface in the center of the enclosure for either bay; in a 1600-mm frame, Center Uprights are again required in addition to Frame Reducing Brackets or Adjustabl
  • Tapped-Hole Rack Angles accommodate 10-32 screws for equipment mounting
  • Square-Hole Rack Angles accept both metric and English cage nuts and screws: most commonly M5, M6, and 10-32 screws
  • Optional Shelves, Drawers, and Guides require two sets of Rack Angles to secure within the frame
  • All mounting hardware for Rack Angle installation into the frame is included; mounting hardware for securing rack-mount equipment/accessories to the Rack Angles is either supplied with the item or purchased separately
  • Tapped Rack Angles are constructed from 12 gauge (2.5 mm) conductive steel, while Square-Hole Rack Angles are from 14 gauge (1.75 mm) conductive steel
  • Load rating of 20 lbs (9.1 kg) per rack unit for equipment under 20-inches (508 mm) in depth; All equipment over 20-inches in depth requires rear rack angles for support
