- Subpanels greater than 1000mm wide are 11 gauge (3.0 mm) mild steel, while subpanels 100mm or narrower are 12 gauge (2.5mm); conductive or white painted finish available
- Subpanels can be mounted at any depth in 25-mm increments (front to back); accommodates back-to-back and fully recessed rear positions
- Side-mount panels must be used for the sides of the enclosure; they can be installed on the interior sides of frames
- Optional panel support bracket available for applications requiring more support in the center of the subpanel; this is required if the enclosure will be tipped in transit or if the panel is not located at the bottom of the enclosure on the glide blocks
- Panels can be installed in the rearmost position, or positioned so joined enclosures provide a continuous mounting surface without requiring joining panels

- Prepare the Mounting Location
Select a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the enclosure and its contents. Check the enclosure's nameplate or datasheet for specific weight information. Use a measuring tape and level to mark the mounting hole positions accurately.
- Drill Mounting Holes
Using the marked positions as a guide, drill the necessary holes in the mounting surface. Ensure the drill bit size is appropriate for the chosen mounting hardware. Clean any debris from the drilled holes.
- Mount the Enclosure
Position the P2P148 enclosure against the mounting surface, aligning the enclosure's mounting holes with the drilled holes. Insert the appropriate mounting hardware (screws, bolts) and tighten them securely using a screwdriver or wrench. Verify that the enclosure is level and firmly attached.
- Install Gasket (if applicable)
If your enclosure came with a gasket, carefully install it around the door or opening according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure a tight seal to protect the interior from environmental elements. Check the datasheet for specific gasket installation procedures.
- Ground the Enclosure
