Overview

The nVent ProLine G2 Disconnect Door (SKU: P2DDRL188) is a premium industrial-grade solution designed for seamless integration with flange-mount disconnect devices in electrical enclosures. Engineered by nVent, a global leader in thermal management and electrical solutions, this disconnect door features a right-hand hinged design with a large cutout (1800x800mm) to accommodate a wide range of disconnect switches and related hardware. The painted finish ensures durability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments where reliability and longevity are critical. Key features of the ProLine G2 Disconnect Door include a hinged mullion with a precision-cut opening that aligns perfectly with standard flange-mount disconnect devices. This design allows for unobstructed access to the interior of the enclosure, simplifying installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The interlock system between the enclosure doors and the disconnect mullion enhances safety by ensuring that the disconnect device is properly secured and isolated before access is granted. This feature is particularly valuable in applications where electrical safety and compliance with industry standards are non-negotiable. The ProLine G2 Disconnect Door is engineered for versatility and ease of use. The large cutout accommodates a variety of disconnect devices, including those from leading manufacturers, making it a flexible solution for custom electrical panel configurations. The hinged design provides maximum access to the Full Mounting Subpanel (Mounting Plate), allowing technicians to install, inspect, or replace components without disassembling the entire enclosure. This reduces downtime and improves operational efficiency in industrial facilities, data centers, and commercial buildings. Typical applications for the ProLine G2 Disconnect Door include industrial control panels, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear assemblies, and power distribution units. It is widely used in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, water treatment, and renewable energy, where robust electrical infrastructure is essential. The door’s design also supports compliance with NEC, UL, and IEC standards, ensuring it meets the stringent requirements of modern electrical installations. nVent’s reputation for innovation and quality makes the ProLine G2 Disconnect Door a trusted choice for professionals who demand reliability and performance. With a country of origin in the US, this product reflects nVent’s commitment to high manufacturing standards and adherence to industry best practices. Whether you’re upgrading an existing system or designing a new installation, the ProLine G2 Disconnect Door delivers the durability, safety, and functionality required for critical electrical applications.
