How to Install the PROLINE G2 Disconnect Switch

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the PROLINE G2 disconnect switch on a modular frame, ensuring proper setup and safety.

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Shoulder collar, Hex nut

  1. Install the disconnect door

    Follow the disconnect door installation instructions to attach the PROLINE G2 disconnect door and disconnect mullion to the modular frame.

  2. Attach the operating handle

    Install the disconnect/circuit breaker operating handle on the disconnect mullion according to the manufacturer's instructions. Remove the pivot bracket as shown in the installation guide.

  3. Secure the pivot bracket

    Position the pivot bracket so that the interlock lever fits between the two adjustable studs. Secure the pivot bracket to the disconnect mullion using the shoulder collar and hex nut.

  4. Close the disconnect mullion

    Close and latch the disconnect mullion to the PROLINE G2 frame using the sliding latches provided at the top and bottom.

  5. Adjust the door interlock

    Adjust the studs on the pivot bracket so it is horizontal when the disconnect operating handle is in the 'OFF' position. Ensure proper engagement with the door catch.

  6. Drill mounting holes

    Drill the necessary mounting holes in the subpanel for the specific disconnect switch/circuit breaker being installed, following the manufacturer's instructions.

  7. Install the subpanel
