How to Install the P2B0810 PROLINE G2

Installation guide for mounting the P2B0810 PROLINE G2 enclosure.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Measuring tape, Level, Drill, Screwdriver set, Wrench set

Supplies needed:

Mounting hardware, Gasket sealing tape, Grounding hardware

  1. Prepare the Mounting Location

Select a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the enclosure and its contents. Verify the location is level and has adequate clearance as per the datasheet.

  2. Mark Mounting Holes

Using a measuring tape and the enclosure's mounting template (if provided) or by measuring directly from the enclosure, mark the positions for the mounting holes on the wall or mounting surface. Ensure the marks are level.

  3. Drill Mounting Holes

Drill the mounting holes at the marked locations. Use appropriate drill bits for the mounting surface material. If required, install anchors or other necessary hardware into the holes.

  4. Mount the Enclosure

Position the P2B0810 enclosure against the wall or mounting surface, aligning the enclosure's mounting holes with the drilled holes. Secure the enclosure using appropriate mounting hardware (bolts, screws, etc.). Ensure the enclosure is firmly attached and level.

  5. Install Gasket and Grounding

If applicable, apply gasket sealing tape around the door frame or enclosure opening according to the manufacturer's instructions. Attach the grounding conductor to the designated grounding point on the enclosure and to the grounding system.

  6. Final Inspection

Verify that the enclosure is securely mounted, level, and all connections (including grounding) are properly made. Check that the door closes and seals correctly.
