How to Install the N210226G050 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the N210226G050 air conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Mounting screws, Gasket kit, Drain tube
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and verify its functionality before installation. Ensure it has been upright for at least five minutes if previously stored horizontally.
- Prepare the mounting location
Select an appropriate location for the air conditioner, ensuring at least 24" clearance from the front, 2" from the right side, 9" from the left side, and 6" from the top. Prepare the enclosure opening according to the mounting cutout dimensions.
- Mount the air conditioner
Using the provided mounting bolts, secure the air conditioner to the enclosure. Use the integrated 'EZ' mount tabs to hold the unit in place while tightening. Torque each bolt to 65 in./lbs.
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements. Connect the power cord or wire the unit to a properly grounded power supply, ensuring compliance with national wiring regulations.
- Install the drain tube
Route the drain tube ensuring it has a continuous downward slope without kinks. This prevents overflow of the condensate drain pan.
- Test the air conditioner
After installation, power on the unit and allow it to run for 5-10 minutes. Check for excessive noise or vibration and ensure the evaporator and condenser blowers are functioning properly.
- Calibrate the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature setting. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw clockwise for cooler settings and counterclockwise for warmer settings.
