Overview

The nVent LMK30 (SKU: LMK30) is a set of steel brackets designed for mounting DIN rails or panels within 300mm deep enclosures. These brackets provide a robust mounting framework, facilitating the installation of essential control and automation components. The LMK30 series offers specific solutions for nVent INLINE enclosures where the enclosure dimension (A or B) is 300 mm. The brackets themselves measure 275 mm in length, providing an offset for improved cable management, airflow, and accessibility within the enclosure. Constructed from durable steel, these brackets ensure a stable foundation for electrical equipment. Mounting hardware is included for straightforward installation. The LMK30 brackets are specifically required for mounting DIN3 type rails. They are compatible with various nVent enclosure configurations, including those utilizing bottom profiles like BPP30 and DIN rails such as BDR3530. The product is part of a broader range of nVent enclosure accessories, with related items like mounting plates (BMP3030) and hinges (STBH02) available. The LMK30 is designed for applications requiring reliable mounting solutions in industrial control cabinets and electrical enclosures.

How to Install the LMK30 Wall-Mount Enclosure

Installation guide for mounting the LMK30 wall-mount enclosure.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Drill, Level, Measuring tape, Pencil, Screwdriver, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting hardware (screws, anchors), Gasket sealant (if required)

  1. Select Mounting Location

Choose a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the enclosure and its contents. Consider environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and potential physical impact. Verify that there is adequate space for opening the enclosure door and for any necessary external equipment or wiring.

  2. Prepare the Mounting Surface

Using a level and measuring tape, mark the desired mounting points on the wall. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If mounting to a masonry surface, insert appropriate anchors. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris.

  3. Mount the Enclosure

Position the LMK30 enclosure against the prepared mounting surface. Align the mounting holes on the enclosure with the pilot holes or anchors on the wall. Secure the enclosure using appropriate mounting hardware (screws, bolts). Ensure the enclosure is mounted securely and level. If a gasket is used, ensure it is properly seated and consider applying gasket sealant if recommended by the datasheet for environmental protection.

  4. Verify Installation

Check that the enclosure is firmly attached to the wall and is level. Ensure the door can open and close smoothly without obstruction. Inspect any gaskets or seals for proper fit to maintain environmental protection ratings. Refer to the product datasheet for specific environmental sealing requirements and any additional verification steps.
