This guide provides instructions for safely installing and wiring the Hoffman Fluorescent Lighting Package within an enclosure. Ensure compliance with all applicable national and local electrical codes.

- Disconnect Power and Review Safety Warnings
WARNING: To avoid electric shock and equipment damage, disconnect all power supplies to the enclosure before beginning installation. Read all instructions carefully before proceeding. Ensure the installation location is not hazardous or wet.
- Mount the Fluorescent Fixture
Mount the fluorescent lighting fixture securely within the enclosure using the appropriate method (e.g., PROLINE frame, enclosure top, channel, or optional panel mounting). Ensure the fixture is firmly attached and level.
- Connect Power and Ground Wiring
Connect the fluorescent fixture to a single-phase power supply consistent with the voltage and frequency found on the product label. Route supply wires away from door hinges and sharp edges. Connect the fluorescent fixture ground terminal to a proper earth ground source. Power must be connected to the switch end of the light. All wiring must comply with applicable national and local electrical codes.
- Install Hard Wiring Component (If Applicable)
If hard wiring, install the necessary component (referred to as 'Item X' in the documentation) after the light is mounted. This step is not required when using power ganging accessory cables.
- Verify Installation and Energize
WARNING: Before energizing any circuits, check all internal and external electrical and mechanical clearances to ensure that all assembled equipment functions safely and properly. Once verified, restore power to the enclosure.
