How to Install the ADP2 Wall-Mount Enclosure

Installation guide for mounting the ADP2 wall-mount enclosure.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Drill, Level, Measuring tape, Pencil, Screwdriver, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting hardware (screws, anchors), Gasket sealant (if required)

  1. Select Mounting Location

Choose a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the enclosure and its contents. Avoid areas with excessive dust, moisture, or extreme temperatures. Refer to the datasheet for environmental specifications.

  2. Mark Mounting Holes

Hold the enclosure in the desired position against the mounting surface. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the locations for the mounting holes through the designated mounting points on the enclosure.

  3. Prepare Mounting Surface

Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If mounting to a masonry surface, insert appropriate anchors. Ensure the holes are clean and free of debris.

  4. Mount the Enclosure

Secure the enclosure to the mounting surface using appropriate mounting hardware. Tighten the screws or bolts firmly, but do not overtighten. If a gasket is used, ensure it is properly seated and consider applying gasket sealant for enhanced protection against environmental factors.

  5. Verify Installation

Check that the enclosure is securely mounted and level. Ensure all hardware is tightened appropriately. Inspect the gasket and sealant for proper sealing.
