Overview

- Allow for double sealing of cable and jacket with upper and lower seals
- The swivel retainer and grounding cone are adhered to the gland body by the o-rings to prevent any loose parts; to remove, simply pull these components slightly to detach
- All metric thread cable glands are packaged as kits and includes a chloroprene washer, locknut and earthtag
- All NPT thread cable glands are packaged as kits. Each kit includes a locknut and earthtag (except for NPT 3/8-in. cable glands which do not include locknut and earthtag)

- Prepare the installation area
Ensure the installation area is clean and free of debris. Verify that the temperature range is suitable for the KBAU01NBNC cable gland, which operates between -40°C to +100°C with Neoprene sealing rings.
- Mount the cable gland
Secure the KBAU01NBNC cable gland to the designated enclosure using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is tightly fitted to prevent any ingress of dust or moisture.
- Connect the cables
Strip the ends of the cables to be connected to the gland. Insert the cables through the gland and secure them using the appropriate terminal connectors. Ensure that the cable armor is properly grounded.
- Seal the connections
Use Neoprene sealing rings to seal the connections at the gland. Ensure that the seals are properly fitted to maintain the IP66/68 rating of the installation.
