How to Install the HF1326513R Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HF1326513R filter fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure the area is clear of internal components before cutting.
- Cut the hole
Using the appropriate size cutout tool, cut a hole in the enclosure according to the model specifications. Deburr the cutting edge to avoid sharp edges.
- Insert the filter fan
Insert the filter fan or grille into the cutout until all corners snap and lock into place. If necessary, remove the grille to install mounting fasteners for thicker enclosure materials.
- Secure the fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), use mounting fasteners to secure the fan. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are installed to maintain the IP rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Verify installation
Check that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstructions. Use a multimeter to verify electrical connections before powering on.
