How to Install the G700P500 FUSION G7™
Installation guide for mounting and wiring the G700P500 FUSION G7™ enclosure.

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench, Wire strippers, Wire crimpers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting hardware, Wire connectors, Gland fittings, Grounding lug
- Prepare the enclosure
Select a suitable location for the enclosure. Ensure the mounting surface is level and can support the weight of the enclosure. If drilling new holes, use a template if provided. For existing mounting holes, verify compatibility.
- Mount the enclosure
Using appropriate mounting hardware (e.g., screws, bolts), securely fasten the G700P500 enclosure to the prepared mounting surface. Ensure the enclosure is firmly attached and does not move. Check the nameplate or datasheet for specific mounting instructions and weight.
- Install gland fittings
If required, install gland fittings into the designated knockout holes on the enclosure. Hand-tighten the glands initially. Refer to the datasheet for the correct size and type of glands for your application.
- Route wiring
Carefully route all power, control, and communication wiring through the installed gland fittings. Ensure wires are not pinched or stressed. Leave sufficient slack for connections inside the enclosure.
- Make electrical connections
Open the enclosure door. Connect the incoming power and outgoing load wiring to the appropriate terminals inside the enclosure, following the wiring diagram provided on the enclosure door or in the datasheet. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Install a grounding lug and connect the grounding wire to the enclosure's grounding point.
- Close and secure the enclosure
Double-check all wiring connections for correctness and tightness. Ensure no tools or debris are left inside the enclosure. Close the enclosure door and secure it using the provided latches or locking mechanism. Tighten the gland fittings around the wires to maintain the enclosure's environmental rating.
- Verify operation
