- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and verify its functionality before proceeding with the installation.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the mounting gasket kit provided, attach the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the mounting gaskets. Avoid dragging the unit to prevent tearing the gaskets.
- Wire the air conditioner
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and wire the unit to a properly grounded power supply using copper conductors only.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote mounted thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, ensuring it is set within the recommended range to avoid coil freeze-ups.
- Power on the unit
