- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning correctly before proceeding with installation.
- Install mounting gaskets
Apply the mounting gaskets provided with the unit to ensure a watertight seal between the air conditioner and the enclosure.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gaskets. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the unit to a properly grounded power supply, ensuring the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
