How to Install the G520826G050 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the G520826G050 air conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Screwdriver, Wrench, Ratchet driver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gasket kit, Electrical wire, Thermostat (if required)
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning correctly before installation. Do not operate the unit if it has been in a horizontal position for more than five minutes.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the gasket kit provided, attach the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gaskets. Start the mounting screws by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Wire the air conditioner
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and connect the unit to a properly grounded power supply using copper conductors. Ensure the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Connect the thermostat
If a remote thermostat is required, wire the thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, following the guidelines in the Sequence of Operation section.
- Test the air conditioner
Power on the unit and verify that the evaporator blower starts running. Allow the compressor to operate for 5 to 10 minutes and check for proper cooling.
