How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the G28 Air Conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Screwdriver, Wrench or Ratchet Driver, Wire Strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Mounting gasket, Terminal connectors
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning properly before installation. Do not operate the unit if it has been laid horizontally.
- Prepare the mounting area
Using the provided mounting gasket, attach it to the air conditioner. Ensure the gasket is intact to maintain a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure using the mounting screws. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with a wrench.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the air conditioner to a properly grounded power supply, following the electrical requirements on the nameplate. Ensure the circuit is fused appropriately.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip, referring to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, ensuring it is set above 70°F to prevent coil freeze-ups.
- Test the air conditioner
Power on the unit and verify that the evaporator blower starts running. Allow the unit to operate for 5-10 minutes and check for proper cooling.
