How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the G28 Air Conditioner, ensuring proper mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Mounting gasket, Wire connectors
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and ensure it is functioning correctly before installation.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the provided mounting gasket kit, attach gaskets to the air conditioner to create a seal between the unit and the enclosure.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the mounting gasket. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Allow the unit to stabilize
Keep the air conditioner upright for at least five minutes before powering it on to prevent damage to the compressor.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the air conditioner to a properly grounded power supply, following the electrical requirements on the nameplate. For 3-phase units, ensure the phase monitor light is illuminated.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, referring to the Sequence of Operation for guidance.
