How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation and initial setup of the G28 Air Conditioner.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Mounting gasket
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning correctly before proceeding with the installation.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the mounting gasket kit provided, attach the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the mounting gasket. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Allow the unit to settle
Keep the air conditioner upright for at least five minutes before powering it on to prevent damage.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the air conditioner to a properly grounded power supply, following the electrical requirements on the nameplate. Ensure the phase monitor light is illuminated.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip as per the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, referring to the Sequence of Operation for guidance.
