How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the G28 Air Conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Mounting gasket, Terminal connectors
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and ensure it is functioning correctly before installation.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the provided mounting gasket kit, attach the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gaskets. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the air conditioner to a properly grounded power supply according to the nameplate specifications. Ensure the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Verify electrical phasing
For 3-phase units, check that the phase monitor light is illuminated after applying power to confirm correct electrical phasing.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip, following the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, ensuring it is set within the operational range specified in the manual.
- Test the air conditioner
