How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the G28 Air Conditioner, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gasket kit, Terminal connectors
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and verify its functionality before proceeding with the installation.
- Install gaskets
Using the provided gasket kit, install the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner on the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the installed gaskets. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Allow unit to settle
Keep the air conditioner in an upright position for at least five minutes before starting it to avoid damage.
- Wire the unit
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and wire the unit to a properly grounded power supply. Ensure the circuit is fused correctly.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, following the operational guidelines provided in the manual.
