How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the G28 Air Conditioner, ensuring proper mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Mounting gasket kit
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning correctly before proceeding with installation.
- Install the mounting gasket
Apply the mounting gasket kit provided with the unit to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely attach the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gasket. Start bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Wire the air conditioner
Connect the air conditioner to a properly grounded power supply, following the electrical requirements on the nameplate. For 3-phase units, verify that the phase monitor light is illuminated.
- Set up the thermostat
If required, wire the remote thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip and set the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature.
- Power on the unit
Allow the unit to remain upright for at least five minutes before powering on. After applying power, check that the evaporator blower starts running.
