This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and sealing a Lay-In Wireway for effective cable management.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Wire connectors
- Assemble the wireway sections
Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the installation details.
- Seal the joints
For joints between lay-in sections, position the LSGQR fitting and install it with a shoulder bolt, ensuring the gaskets are visible from above. Rotate the cam to lock the position.
- Install box entries
Make a cutout in the control enclosure for the wireway entry. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, and install a sealing plate as described in the installation details.
- Adjust telescope fitting
Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting. Insert the fitting into the straight section and adjust to the desired length, securing it with screws and nuts.
- Anchor the telescope fitting
If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the fitting and straight section, then install .25−20 screws with cap nuts to secure it.
- Calibrate and finalize installation
Ensure all connections are tight and verify grounding continuity if the wireway is used for grounding. Use touch-up paint to restore any damaged finishes.
