How to Install the Fiberglass Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Fiberglass Wireway, including assembly, grounding, and conduit connections.

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Flange gaskets, Epoxy adhesive, Grounding wire

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Position the flange gasket between the wireway flanges and fasten them together using screws, washers, lockwashers, and nuts.

  2. Install the box connector

    Determine the location where the wireway will enter the enclosure. Make a cutout and drill holes as needed. Position the box connector flange and gasket inside the enclosure, then fasten all parts together with screws.

  3. Ground the wireway

    Connect grounding wires from all conduit entries to the ground wire in the wireway. Ensure that any device with metal portions extending out of the wireway is properly grounded.

  4. Install conduit hubs

    Attach grounding bushings to the conduit hubs inside the wireway. Ensure that the grounding wire is connected to the grounding bushings.

  5. Verify installation

    Check that all connections are secure and that the wireway is supported every five feet in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
