Overview

The nVent F44T124GVWK Straight Section Lay-in Flat Cover Type 1 is a premium galvanized steel wireway component engineered for durable, efficient cable management in commercial, industrial, and institutional applications. Designed with a 4x4x24-inch profile, this straight section features knockouts (KOs) for seamless integration with other wireway components, ensuring a clean, organized installation. The fully open side design eliminates the need for wire pulling, significantly reducing the risk of insulation damage—a common issue in traditional pull-through wiring systems. This not only streamlines installation but also enhances long-term reliability by preserving cable integrity. This wireway section is ideal for enclosing and protecting electrical wiring in exposed or concealed runs, including walls, ceilings, and utility corridors. The flat cover design allows for flush mounting, providing a sleek, professional appearance while maintaining accessibility via keyhole screw slots for easy maintenance and future modifications. Constructed from high-quality galvanized steel, the F44T124GVWK delivers superior corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments where durability is critical. Professionals across industries such as manufacturing, data centers, healthcare, and commercial construction rely on nVent wireway systems for their robust construction and compliance with electrical safety standards. The Type 1 rating ensures compatibility with a wide range of electrical codes, including NEC requirements for wireway installations. Available in multiple lengths (12 to 120 inches) and configurations (with or without knockouts), this product offers flexibility to accommodate diverse project requirements. nVent, a global leader in electrical and thermal management solutions, is trusted for its commitment to innovation and quality. The F44T124GVWK reflects the brand’s dedication to providing high-performance products that enhance safety, efficiency, and longevity in electrical installations. Whether used in new construction or retrofit projects, this wireway section delivers unmatched performance and peace of mind for electrical contractors, engineers, and facility managers alike.
