This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the EXWK138SS6 window kit onto an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and sealing.

  1. Prepare the enclosure

    Make a rectangular cutout of 14.69 x 9.69 inches (373 x 246 mm) in the enclosure where the window will be mounted.

  2. Remove protective film

    Remove the plastic protective film from both sides of the window before installation.

  3. Install the window

    Place the window in the frame within the stud perimeter, then position the frame and window against the enclosure with the studs protruding through the cutout.

  4. Attach the retainer plate

    Secure the retainer plate with nuts to the inside of the enclosure, ensuring the flanges are facing down. Align the window properly and tighten all nuts to a torque of 15−20 in-lbs (1.7−2.3 Nm).
