The nVent EEC12U5260 is a 12U, 19-inch rack-mount electronic case from the Bulletin DEC1 series, designed for robust protection of electronic components. Its construction features a rigid framework formed by one-piece aluminum die-cast front and rear bezels connected by aluminum extrusions. The 1-mm steel covers include grounding provisions and attach directly to the framework for convenient maintenance. The bottom cover is engineered with multiple rows of holes to facilitate essential airflow and heat dissipation, crucial for sensitive electronics. The front bezel offers flexibility with provisions for standard 19-inch rack mounting and front panel installations. This enclosure meets NEMA Type 1 and IEC 60529, IP20 ratings, ensuring protection against solid objects and limited water ingress. Its exterior dimensions are 566x520x600mm, providing ample internal space. The framework includes mounting provisions with 10-mm centers front to back, supporting optional slide rails (EECCR50, EECCR60) for easy installation and access to subracks or chassis. These slide rails are clear anodized aluminum extrusions that snap into place without additional hardware and are vertically positionable in 1.75-inch increments. The case framework is pre-assembled for quick installation and includes anti-skid feet and hardware for optional front and rear panels. The framework has an RAL 7030 stone-gray textured finish, while top and bottom covers have an RAL 7035 light-gray textured finish on the outside and a plated finish on the inside.
