With the shroud fitted, EF filter fans increase in rating from IP 54 to IP 56. It corresponds with IP 56 Type 4, 12 when fitted over an EF outdoor filter fan (ECHD70 only Type 12).

The cover is made from AISI 304L pre-grained stainless steel with a blue silicone gasket that is FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 compliant.

The dimensions of the ECHD70 cover are 18.9 inches in height, 13.78 inches in width, and 6.3 inches in depth.

The ECHD70 cover is specially designed for harsh sanitary operations in the food & beverage industry to protect EF filter fans against water ingress.

The cover can be easily removed for maintenance and gasket replacement, and it opens to a 35º angle for easy filter cleaning.

The ECHD70 cover has a 400 pre-grained stainless steel finish.
