The nVent HOFFMAN EBU5NXSLE is a premium ATEX/IECEx certified stainless steel cable gland engineered for secure cable entry into hazardous area enclosures. Designed for non-armored cables in explosive gas and dust environments, this gland delivers uncompromising protection where safety cannot be compromised. Certified to IEC/EN 60079-0, IEC/EN 60079-1, IEC/EN 60079-7, and IEC/EN 60079-31, it meets stringent standards for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous locations. Manufactured in the USA with 316L stainless steel and a silicone seal, the EBU5NXSLE offers exceptional corrosion resistance and operates reliably from -60°C to 130°C (-76°F to 266°F). The three-level removable sealing system accommodates cable diameters from 26mm to 35mm (1.02" to 1.38"), providing flexibility without requiring multiple gland configurations. The NPT 1 1/2" thread ensures a secure mechanical connection to enclosures, while the included locknut and earthtag kit facilitates proper grounding and installation.
