Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable gland parts (A, B, C, D, E)
- Disassemble the cable gland
Hold the assembled cable gland straight and disassemble the parts labeled A, B, C, D, and E.
- Select the seal combination
Choose the optimal seal combination according to the cable diameter that will be tightened. For a triple seal combination, it is sufficient to disassemble only part E.
- Assemble the seal combination
Assemble the selected seal combination inside part A. Mount parts A, C, and D onto the enclosure using sufficient torque values.
- Insert the cable
Insert the cable into the gland for installation. Ensure the cable is properly seated within the gland.
- Secure the gland
Tighten part E to parts A, C, and D using sufficient torque values to ensure a secure fit.
- Verify installation
Use a multimeter to check for continuity and ensure that the installation is electrically sound before powering on.
