Overview

The nVent EBU3MXSWSLE (SKU: EBU3MXSWSLE) is a 316L stainless steel cable gland designed for hazardous locations. It is certified for Ex d/e/tb applications in Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22, meeting ATEX and IEC standards (CESI 13 ATEX 033X / IECEx CES 13.0013X). This gland provides secure entry for non-armored cables into electrical enclosures, offering essential strain relief and sealing against dust and moisture ingress with IP66/68 protection. The silicone seal ensures reliable operation across a wide temperature range of -60°C to 130°C (-76°F to 266°F). Its M32x1.5 metric thread provides a versatile mounting option. The gland accommodates a broad clamping range with three levels of removable seals for adaptability. Each metric thread cable gland is supplied as a kit, including a chloroprene washer, locknut, and earth tag for straightforward installation. Ideal for oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, and pharmaceutical industries requiring stringent safety compliance in potentially explosive atmospheres.
  • Suitable for non-armored cables in flameproof (ex d), increased safety (ex e) and dust (ex tb) applications
  • Allow for a wider clamping range in a single gland with 3 levels of removable seals
  • All metric thread cable glands are packaged as kits; each kit includes a chloroprene washer, a locknut and an earthtag
  • "All NPT thread cable glands are packaged as kits; each kit includes a locknut and an earthtag (except for NPT 3/8"" cable glands which do not include locknuts or earthtags)"
  • Available in Metric (M) and NPT (N) thread type
