How to Repaint Hoffman Enclosures
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for repainting Hoffman enclosures to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.

Tools needed:
Sander, Paint sprayer or brush, Solvent cloth
Supplies needed:
180 grit sandpaper, 220 or 240 grit sandpaper, Paint compatible with polyester powder, Masking tape
- Prepare the surface
Thoroughly sand all enclosure surfaces using 180 grit sandpaper. If sanding marks are objectionable, finish with 220 or 240 grit sandpaper.
- Clean the surfaces
Wet wipe all surfaces with a solvent cloth to remove any possible contaminants before painting.
- Apply paint
Apply two or three medium to light coats of compatible paint, allowing two or three minutes flash off between coats.
- Cure the paint
Allow the paint to cure adequately according to the paint manufacturer's instructions before testing for adhesion.
