This guide provides step-by-step instructions for repainting Hoffman standard enclosures to ensure proper adhesion and finish.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Sandpaper, Paint sprayer or brush
Supplies needed:
180 grit sandpaper, 220 or 240 grit sandpaper, Solvent, Paint compatible with polyester powder
- Prepare the surface
Thoroughly sand all enclosure surfaces with 180 grit sandpaper. If sanding marks are objectionable, finish sanding with 220 or 240 grit sandpaper.
- Clean the surfaces
Wet wipe all surfaces with a solvent to remove any possible contaminants before applying paint.
- Apply paint
Apply two or three medium to light coats of paint, allowing two to three minutes of flash off time between coats. Consult your paint manufacturer for proper curing times.
