Overview

The nVent DNSS1606 stainless steel plain door is a 1600 x 600 x 17 mm rear access door designed for floor-standing enclosures. Constructed from 2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel with a 400 pre-grained finish, it provides corrosion-resistant protection for industrial control panels and electrical equipment. The door features a double-bit 3 mm lock system and integrated door frame for secure closure. Maximum load capacity is 800 N, ensuring structural integrity under typical industrial use. Compatible with nVent's combinable and compact stainless steel enclosure ranges, this door enables rear access to installed equipment or supports back-to-back mounting configurations to expand mounting space. The DNSS1606 is a direct replacement for rear panels in existing installations and requires the DNMKS hinge kit (sold separately) for proper mounting if no door was previously fitted. Available in standard AISI 304 with AISI 316L as a special order option, this door meets the demands of harsh industrial environments where stainless steel durability and clean aesthetics are required.
