Mounting hardware, Support brackets, Grounding strap, Cable ties, Wire connectors
- Plan the Installation
Determine the desired path for the cable tray. Ensure that supports will be placed at intervals of 10 feet or less. Consult the datasheet for specific dimensions and load capacities applicable to your model.
- Install Supports
Securely mount the support brackets to the wall or ceiling at the planned intervals. Use appropriate hardware for the mounting surface. Ensure supports are level and can bear the intended load.
- Mount the Cable Tray
Attach the CT44LB covered cable tray sections to the installed supports. Ensure a secure and stable connection. If using multiple sections, connect them using the appropriate coupling hardware.
- Install Grounding Strap (if required)
For UL classified installations, attach the provided grounding strap to the tray and connect it to a suitable earth ground. Refer to the product's specific requirements for grounding strap size and connection method.
- Route Cables
Carefully place cables, tubing, or raceways within the tray. Use cable ties or other appropriate methods to secure the contents and prevent movement. Do not overload the tray; refer to the datasheet for maximum load ratings.
