How to Assemble the Hoffman CC4000 Pedestal

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the standard assembly of the Hoffman CC4000 Pedestal, including options for cable routing and base attachments.

Estimated time: 45m

Tools needed:

Screwdriver (for M6 screws)

Supplies needed:

Hoffman CC4000 Pedestal Components (Parts 1-10), M6 Screws

  1. Gather Components

Collect all parts (items 1 through 10) and the necessary M6 screws provided with the CC4000 Pedestal kit, as shown in the exploded view.

  2. Assemble the Pedestal Frame

Attach the side panels (item 3, 8x) to the base plate (item 1) using the M6 screws. Ensure all connections are secure to form the main structure of the pedestal.

  3. Secure the Top Plate

Place the top plate (item 2) onto the assembled side panels and fasten it securely with M6 screws to complete the main enclosure of the pedestal.

  4. Install Cable Management Plates

Attach items 7, 8, 9, and 10 to the pedestal structure as indicated in the 'Standard Assembly' diagram on page 3, using M6 screws. These components are typically for internal cable routing or support.

  5. Modify for Cable Run (Optional)

If a cable run on top of the pedestal base is desired, modify item 7 as described in the 'Modified Assembly' note on page 3. This customization allows for specific cable routing requirements.

  6. Attach Pedestal Options (Optional)

Depending on your installation needs, attach the Floor Mount, Levelers, or Casters to the base (item 1) as shown in the 'Pedestal Options' section on page 4. Secure these options firmly.
