This guide outlines the mechanical installation and securing of the CIC module, potentially in conjunction with a CIPP unit, within an enclosure.
Estimated time: 15m
Tools needed:
Torque wrench, Screwdriver (for M6 screws)
Supplies needed:
M6x12 screws, M6x16 screws
- Mount the CIC Module
Position the CIC module, and any associated CIPP unit, within the designated 600mm or 800mm wide enclosure. Secure the module(s) using the appropriate M6x12 or M6x16 screws. Refer to your system's assembly instructions for specific screw locations and quantities (e.g., 4 screws for CIPP, 2 for CIC, or 8 for CIPP+CIC configurations).
- Apply Required Torque
Using a calibrated torque wrench, tighten all M6 mounting screws to a torque of 8-10 Nm. Ensure that all components are firmly and securely fastened to prevent any movement or vibration during operation.
- Verify Component Integration
Confirm that all necessary CIPP and CIC components are correctly positioned and integrated according to your system's requirements. Visually inspect the assembly to ensure all parts, as referenced in the documentation (e.g., A through G), are properly installed.
