Overview

The nVent CC466151 COMPACT® CC2 Operator Interface Enclosure is a cast aluminum enclosure designed for demanding industrial environments. Measuring 465x615x518mm (18.3x24.2x20.4in), this Type 4X/NEMA 4X enclosure provides robust protection for operator interfaces, HMIs, and control panels in harsh conditions. Constructed from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum with no welded seams or sharp corners, the CC466151 ensures long-term durability against dust, moisture, and mechanical stress. The enclosure features a tongue-and-groove sealing system with an oil-resistant, seamless foam-in-place gasket for IP66/IP66K ingress protection, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Stainless steel captivated cover screws placed outside the sealed area prevent tampering while maintaining environmental integrity. Internal threaded bosses accommodate mounting of panels, rails, and DIN-type components, with corner mounting holes provided outside the gasketed area for easy installation. The enclosure includes two to four grounding screws on the back wall for electrical safety compliance. Finished in RAL 7042 textured gray (custom colors available), the CC466151 is UL 508A listed and CSA certified for Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13 applications. Ideal for automation systems, process control panels, and industrial monitoring stations where reliable operator interface protection is critical.
