Overview

Manufactured by nVent (formerly Hoffman), this console combines 14-gauge steel construction with 48x24x18-inch dimensions (1219x610x457mm) to provide a secure enclosure for PLCs, HMIs, operator interfaces, and instrumentation. The console features a 20° sloped top with 3-point adjustable lid, solid sides/back, and front-mounted doors (hinged left or right) with oil-tight quarter-turn latches. Internal stud locations allow for optional inner panel mounting, while a grounding stud and bonding screw ensure electrical safety. The 17.30-inch (439mm) depth accommodates cable management, power distribution, and additional components like shelves or mounting rails. Compatible with EIA RS-310-E racking systems, the C924B supports retrofitting legacy systems or new installations in oil/gas, chemical processing, water treatment, automotive, aerospace, and pharmaceutical facilities.
