This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the NEMA Swing-Out Panel Kit, ensuring proper mounting and functionality.

Drill, Screwdriver, Wrench
Supplies needed:
Pan head screws, Nylon washers, 3/8” hex head bolts, Lockwashers, Hex nuts, Retaining rings
- Determine mounting position
Select the desired mounting position for the swing panel and drill eight .312 (8mm) diameter holes as indicated in the installation guide.
- Mount hinges and brackets
Secure the hinges and securing brackets to the panel using pan head screws, ensuring to place nylon washers under the screw heads to meet NEMA standards.
- Attach swing panel
Mount the swing panel to the hinges using 3/8” hex head bolts, lockwashers, and hex nuts. Adjust the panel to ensure it swings freely through the door opening.
- Install thumb screws
Captivate the thumb screws to the panel using the retaining rings provided to secure the panel in place.
- Reinforce with additional bolts
For larger enclosures or heavy panel loading, drill two additional holes in the swing panel and install two bolts per hinge as shown in the installation guide.
