Overview

The nVent Hoffman ALGDSTOPKSS6 is a Type 316 stainless steel door stop kit designed for large enclosures, securing doors at a 90-degree open position. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant Type 316 stainless steel, it is ideal for harsh industrial environments including water treatment, pulp and paper, petroleum, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and packaging. This kit is suitable for standard, free-stand, and floor-mount enclosures with a 'B' dimension of 16.00 inches or more. Installation is straightforward, requiring only two small holes to be drilled in the door and enclosure. The stop arm is easily adjustable via a wingnut for precise control and slides out of the way when the door is closed. The ALGDSTOPKSS6 meets Telcordia GR-487-CORE vertical door restrainer requirements and maintains the enclosure's Type 4X rating when properly installed. It is compatible with mild and stainless steel enclosures and is not intended for use with quarter-turn latches. nVent, a global leader in electrical and thermal management, ensures the reliability and durability of this essential enclosure accessory.
