Overview

Protect your sensitive electronic and electrical components from corrosion with the nVent AHCI10E Corrosion Inhibitor Emitter. Designed for enclosures up to 10 cubic feet (283.2 liters), this emitter utilizes a vapor-phase chemical action to provide comprehensive protection for all interior surfaces. Unlike traditional methods, no surface preparation, degreasing, or coating removal is required, allowing equipment to be put into immediate use. The special chemical combination vaporizes and condenses on all surfaces, redepositing as needed to counteract moisture and condensation. This protection is effective even in harsh salt-water atmospheres and is particularly beneficial for protecting metals like aluminum, brass, steel, iron, zinc plate, and tin plate. The AHCI10E model includes additional red-metal inhibitors for enhanced protection of non-ferrous metals. Each emitter has a useful life of over one year, though this can be reduced by temperatures exceeding 104°F (40°C). For optimal performance, ensure enclosures are reasonably sealed and that vapors can access all components (maximum vapor travel distance is approximately 1.50 ft). Store emitters in their resealable bags at temperatures not exceeding 120°F (45°C). This package contains 12 AHCI10E emitters.
