How to Install the AFK1224SS Enclosure
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for securely installing the AFK1224SS enclosure on a floor stand.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Drill, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
3/8-inch diameter studs, 3/8−16x1.00 hex head screws, Washers, Nuts, Lockwashers
- Verify enclosure depth
Check the depth of the floor stand (”C” dimension) to ensure it matches the enclosure depth dimension.
- Anchor floor studs
Securely anchor six 3/8-inch diameter studs (not provided with kit) in the floor as shown in the installation diagram.
- Drill enclosure holes
Drill the appropriate hole pattern in the bottom of the enclosure as indicated in the installation diagram.
- Bolt floor stand to enclosure
Using the provided 3/8−16x1.00 hex head screws, washers, and nuts, bolt the floor stand to the enclosure. Firmly tighten all fasteners.
- Position the enclosure
Position the enclosure with the attached floor stands over the anchored floor studs, ensuring the studs extend through the base holes in the floor stands.
- Secure floor stands
Secure the floor stands to the anchored floor studs using 3/8 inch nuts and lockwashers or with 3/8 inch locknuts and washers. Torque to 120 in-lbs.
- Check electrical clearances
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, do not energize any circuits before checking all internal and external electrical and mechanical clearances to ensure safe operation.
