How to Install the Swing-Out Panel Assembly

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing a swing-out panel assembly in an enclosure.

Screwdriver, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Clamping nuts, Hex head screws, Lockwashers, Flatwashers, Panel supports, Flange nuts, Carriage bolts, Standoff nuts

  1. Attach the swing-out panel assembly

    Secure the hinged side of the swing-out panel assembly to the mounting channels on one side of the enclosure using clamping nuts, screws, washers, and lockwashers. Ensure the clamping nuts fit inside the mounting channels.

  2. Install the panel supports

    Install the panel supports on the mounting channels on the opposite side of the enclosure or on the center panel support for two-door enclosures. Use clamping nuts, screws, washers, and lockwashers to secure them in place. Note that clamping nuts are not required for the center panel support.

  3. Secure the panel

    Swing the panel into the enclosure and secure it to the panel supports and studs on the hinged side of the swing-out panel assembly using flange nuts. Ensure the panel is properly aligned and fastened.
