Overview

The nVent A6044LP (SKU: A6044LP) is a Type 12 mild steel enclosure designed for indoor industrial environments requiring protection from dust, dirt, and incidental water contact. Measuring 6.00" x 4.00" x 4.00", this compact enclosure features a lift-off clamp cover secured by robust clamps, ensuring quick access for maintenance while maintaining a reliable seal against contaminants. The enclosure is constructed from 16 or 14 gauge mild steel with continuously welded and ground smooth seams, providing durability against physical impact common in manufacturing and processing plants. A chain-secured cover prevents accidental loss during access, while an oil-resistant gasket enhances environmental protection. Weldnuts are provided for mounting optional panels and terminal block kits, and external welded-on mounting brackets simplify installation.
