Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Sealing washers, 1/4–20 screws, 1/4–20 nuts, Conduit hubs
- Prepare the enclosure
Place sealing washers and 1/4–20 screws in the corner bosses of the enclosure.
- Mount the enclosure
Align screws protruding from the rear of the enclosure with holes on the mounting surface. Feed screws through holes and secure with 1/4–20 nuts and washers.
- Connect conduit hubs
When connecting conduit to the enclosure, use only U.L. listed or recognized conduit hubs that match the environmental type rating of the enclosure. Ensure conduit hubs are connected to the conduit before attaching them to the enclosure.
- Drill drainage hole
To maintain a UL/CSA 3R rating, drill a 1/4” (6 mm) diameter hole on the bottom surface of the enclosure at the lowest point.
- Verify connections
Use a multimeter to check all electrical connections for continuity and proper grounding before powering up the system.
