Overview

The nVent A3004YZHM Purge System (SKU A3004YZHM) is a large-volume hazardous location purging system designed for enclosures up to 250 cubic feet. Part of nVent's Bulletin HL Series, this Type Y/Z system meets UL, FM, and ATEX certifications for Class I, Division 1/2, Groups A-D and Zone 1/2 hazardous environments. Engineered for horizontal mounting, it features a 316 stainless steel faceplate and mounting plate with tumble finish, anodized aluminum manifold body, and zinc regulator body with enamel finish. The system includes a rapid-exchange control valve, explosion-proof differential pressure switch with 'C' contacts for alarm, and a 90-degree enclosure protection vent. Certified for use with compressed instrument air or inert gas at 60-115 PSI (4-8 bar), it maintains positive pressure to prevent flammable vapor accumulation in protected enclosures. Ideal for motor control centers, PLCs, HMIs, analytical instrumentation, and power distribution units in oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and mining industries. Compatible with NEMA Type 4/4X/12 enclosures constructed from metal, fiberglass, or polycarbonate. Includes mounting kit and accessories; pressure vent not required for inlet pressures ≤5 PSI. For higher pressures, order EPV-1-SA-00 or EPV-1-SA-90 separately.
