The exm 886 DS2T Door Stop Kit is specifically designed for external mounting on exm ES series enclosures, providing reliable door control. This essential accessory secures the enclosure door in the open position, effectively preventing accidental closure and ensuring safe, unobstructed access to internal components. Engineered for compatibility with standard Hoffman Type 4 and 12 enclosures, the 886 DS2T requires a minimum "B" dimension of 16.00 inches (406 mm) and is suitable for horizontally opening doors. Installation is straightforward, involving the drilling of two small holes in the enclosure body and two in the door. The angle of the door stop is easily adjustable using a convenient wingnut, and the stop arm retracts neatly and unobtrusively when the door is closed. All components are plated to provide robust corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity in industrial environments. Proper installation within a Hoffman enclosure will maintain its existing UL/CSA Type 4 and Type 12 ratings.
